Comparison

Primodojo vs BJJLINK

This is the closest comparison on the site. Both products are built for jiu-jitsu, both cover belts and curriculum, and both charge $49 a month for unlimited students. The difference is what happens to that $49: BJJLINK's entry plan adds a 1% service fee on everything your academy collects, so the bill grows with your revenue. Ours doesn't.

The 1% is the whole story

BJJLINK's BLACK plan is $49/mo plus a 1% service fee. Their CORAL plan is $149/mo and drops the fee. Both are unlimited students. The fee scales with what your academy collects, so the more successful you get, the more the cheap plan costs. Primodojo's Growth plan is $49 flat and takes no cut of your dues at any volume.

Your academy collectsBJJLINK BLACK ($49 + 1%)BJJLINK CORAL ($149)Primodojo Growth
$5,000 a month$99/mo$149/mo$49/mo
$10,000 a month$149/mo$149/mo$49/mo
$20,000 a month$249/mo$149/mo$49/mo
$40,000 a month$449/mo$149/mo$49/mo

Read the $10,000 row twice: that is where their cheap plan stops being cheap and their expensive plan becomes the better deal. A 150-member academy at $130 a head collects about $20,000 a month, so BLACK costs $2,988 over a year and CORAL costs $1,788. Primodojo is $588, or $490 paid yearly, and stays there whether you collect $5,000 or $50,000. Card processing sits on top for both of us at roughly 2.9% + 30¢, and neither of us marks up the processor.

Where the two actually differ

The feature lists overlap heavily, so this table sticks to where they diverge. Rows marked "not named on their site" mean exactly that: we could not find it published in July 2026, not that it definitely doesn't exist.

Where the line falls

Under about $10,000 a month collected, the 1% is small and the two prices sit close together. Past that it quietly becomes the most expensive line on your software bill, and it keeps growing every time you raise dues or add students. A flat $49 with no cut of what you collect is worth thirty minutes of your evening to check. The trial doesn't ask for a card, and the importer takes a CSV.
