Comparison

Primodojo vs Kicksite

Kicksite gives every customer every feature regardless of tier. So do we. That makes this a comparison of price shape more than feature lists, and the shapes are very different: Kicksite charges by student count in four steps, and the steps are steep. Ours has two, and the second one is the last one.

What it costs as the school fills up

Both platforms give every customer every feature, so this really is a price comparison rather than a plan comparison. Kicksite's tiers are the ones published on their pricing page in July 2026.

Your schoolKicksiteKicksite, 12 monthsPrimodojoPrimodojo, 12 months
Up to 25 students$49/mo$588Starter, $29/mo$348 ($290 paid yearly)
26 to 50 students$99/mo$1,188Starter, $29/mo$348 ($290 paid yearly)
51 to 100 students$149/mo$1,788Growth, $49/mo$588 ($490 paid yearly)
101+ students$199/mo$2,388Growth, $49/mo$588 ($490 paid yearly)

The row worth staring at is the second one. Enrolling your 26th student doubles a Kicksite bill from $49 to $99, and it happens again at 51 and again at 101. A school that grows from 24 to 110 students over two years watches its software bill go up four times. Ours goes up once, from $29 to $49, and then never again.

Beyond the price

Both products cover the martial arts basics, so this table sticks to the places they diverge. "Not named on their site" means we could not find it published in July 2026.

The trade-off, stated plainly

Primodojo is newer and founder-run. You may hit a rough edge an older product has already sanded down, and you will get answers from the person who wrote the code. What you will not do is pay more every time a new white belt signs up. If that matters at your size, the trial takes two minutes and doesn't ask for a card or a call.
